Those of you used to using "Ebsco" for your library research are in for a major change, and a pleasant surprise, we hope. The state of Oregon, which subsidizes our major database purchases, switched to Gale as its new vendor.
Use this database for most of your general library research needs. Academic OneFile contains peer-reviewed, full-text articles from leading journals and reference sources. Covers physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, with articles available in both PDF and HTML full-text format.
Use this database for general interest or consumer research. General Onefile provides access to more than 11,500 publications, many in full-text, including reference, newspapers and audio content to complement the collection of magazines and journals.
ARTstor has collections of over 500,000 digital art images and associated data that can be used for noncommercial and scholarly, non-profit educational use.
The images are drawn from different sources, such as museums, archaeological teams, photo archives, slide collections, and art reference publishers.
