Classroom reservations will be made at the discretion of library staff and will be determined by considering availability, technology requirements, and purpose. (Classroom houses 28 computers and 1 instructor station.) Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, following these guidelines:
- Highest priority is for library instruction and library presentations.
- During weeks 1, 10, and finals week, the classroom will be kept as a drop-in computer lab, except for library-related instruction/presentations.
- Reservations may be made no more than 1 week in advance, except for library-related instruction/presentations.
- The classroom is for single-session events (not recurring classes or events).
Reservations
- Classroom scheduling is maintained by the Library. To make or cancel a reservation, please contact the Reference Desk at ext. 4645.
Using the Classroom
- The person who reserves the classroom is responsible for the equipment, furniture and physical space during the time that the room has been scheduled.
- If you need help using the equipment, please ask for assistance at the Reference Desk.
- Please do not use the classroom longer than your allotted time.
- Food and drink are not allowed near the computers.
Leaving the Classroom
Please do NOT turn off or shut down the computers.
Turn off all equipment associated with the instructor station.
Return all furniture to the original configuration.
Report any technology problems at the reference desk.
